Barry and Angela's Garden
Having moved just over two years ago, leaving behind a much bigger well established garden Angela and Barry are learning to compromise on space and choosing selected plants to transform a more manageable sized plot to look after in our retirement.
Inherited shrubs and trees dominate the back border. Other original borders remain but have been replanted with a cottage garden on one corner and larger drought tolerant Prairie style planting (self seeding wild fennel, scabiosa, grasses, verbenas and sedums) on the opposite side.Quirky in places, artworks to compliment planting and Angela’s passion a theatre of scented pelargoniums!
Barry’s collection of tree ferns will welcome you in the mini fernery in the front garden. The last time Barry and Angela opened their garden was in May 2025. They look forward to seeing you again in September- a different season with new things to enjoy.
N.B. There is limited parking down Fraser gardens as it’s a cul de sac. The owner will be on hand to assist with parking as some neighbours have offered their driveways. South Lane and Cheshire Way are 5 mins walk from the property
