Peter Gregory’s talk, ‘Behind the Scenes at Chelsea’ was well attended and gave members an insight into the world of the famous flower show.

Gillian Taylor explored how we can make our gardens more sustainable in terms of labour, water and nutrition whilst still providing beauty, colour, structure, and insect friendly plants.

Benjamin Turner gave us Inspiration from Tresco Abbey Gardens which took us through the history and mythology of Tresco and the Isles of Scilly, followed by a virtual tour of the garden.

We were joined by two of the gardeners from West Dean Chantal Sparrow and George Ellis who shared their experiences and projects as gardeners at West Dean

Ray shared insights into organic gardening as well as handy tips for gardeners.

Elizabeth Sawday returned to give us another highly entertaining talk, this time it was about how to prune our roses.

In this Zoom talk, Andrew Halstead explained insects and other invertebrates that are useful as pollinators, predators or parasites.
