Self-Drive Trip: National Collection of Salvias

Reserve your space from 9.00 am on 9th August

2 Hillside Cottages
Trampers Lane
North Boarhunt
PO17 6DA
Cost £5.00 – to be paid to the owners in cash

The National Collection of Salvias is held by Lyndsey and John Pink at their private garden of almost an acre. They will be available to answer any questions but will not be giving a guided tour. There are 387 species of salvias which includes 107 species from Eurasia and Africa. The other accessions contain Salvias from the Americas and cultivars. The salvias are dispersed throughout the garden, where they vie for attention in the deep borders and beds with many other interesting and unusual plants.

There will be tea and coffee available for a small cash donation. Parking is on the road outside, or in the car park at village hall opposite. A garden well worth visiting, not only for the salvias but a good source of ideas for one’s own garden.

If you would like a lift, or are driving and have a spare seat in your car, please let Brenda know so that she can make the necessary connections!
